On
another note, my 11 yr old today came up to me and gave me a shock of
my life. He told me that he now understands why I get so mad when he's
disrespectful. Evidently his friend up the street, treats his parents
quite badly. Says bad words to them, throws stuff at them as well as
hits them. My son got to witness such events and turned it into
something positive (well, just for now, guess we can see how long this
will last). He said that his friend looked real stupid doing these
things to his parents and he felt bad for the mom. I don't know...What
I do know is that If that was my kid, I sure as hell would have opened
one hell of a can of whoop ass on him...
